    Safaricom Launches ‘Data Dabo Dabo’ Offer—Here’s How to Get Free Extra Data

    Safaricom has today announced the launch of a new customer promotion campaign dubbed  ‘Data Dabo Dabo’. The promotion is designed to offer customers free extra data bundles when they purchase a data bundle.

    The campaign will run for three months till 23rd April 2025. It will offer customers a ‘Buy One Get One Free’ offer on select data bundles.

    “This is in recognition of the evolving needs of customers, including the growing reliance on the internet and the increasing adoption of smartphones for everyday activities such as communication, entertainment, and staying informed. The promotion reinforces Safaricom’s commitment to delivering greater value and affordable connectivity to customers,” Safaricom said in a statement. 

    How to Participate in the Safaricom Data Dabo Dabo

    To take part in this promotion, customers can buy select data bundles under ‘Data Dabo Dabo’ on mySafaricom App, USSD *544# or any other Safaricom short code.

    Through USSD

    • Dial *544#.
    • Select Option 2 ‘Data DaboDabo’.
    • Select the one you want to purchase.

    Upon completing the purchase, an equivalent free data bundle will automatically be awarded.

    The free daily data bundles are valid until midnight on the day of purchase. The extra bundles cannot be transferred or shared with others.
