The Infinix Hot 50i is one of the latest smartphones from the company to be unveiled in Kenya. The phone has been unveiled today and is currently available on pre-order till the end of the month. Its expected retail price after the pre-order period should be around Ksh 13,699. This is not that much and at this price, it will be competing with the Redmi 14C, Galaxy A06 among others.

The Infinix Hot 50i is the successor to the Hot 40 series from last year. The Hot 40 was and still is good but it did not tick most of the boxes for me. It felt rushed and did not stand out when it came out. It was good but just not great. I hope the Hot 50i will be a bit different and bring some good competition within this price segment.

The Hot 50i is powered by the MediaTek Helio G81 processor that is paired with either 4 or 6GB of RAM. It also has a 6.7 inch display with 120Hz refresh rate which is impressive for a phone in its price range.

Have a look at the phone’s other key specifications below.
