The University of Nairobi is set to host its first-ever E-Mobility Workshop on August 30, 2024. The workshop is organized in collaboration with the Green Global Footprint Initiative (@GGFI_kenya) and AfricaNEV (@AfricanEv), with a primary focus on “Developing a Competent Workforce for E-Mobility Advancement.”

This roundtable workshop will bring together key stakeholders, including industry experts, academicians, government officials, and other sector players, to engage in meaningful discussions on the current landscape of e-mobility in Kenya.

    Key Focus Areas

The workshop aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the e-mobility sector in Kenya, covering the present state of the industry, emerging trends, and future prospects. Participants will have crucial discussions on assessing the existing workforce, identifying critical skill gaps, and outlining the necessary steps to bridge these gaps.

A major highlight of the workshop will be the in-depth exploration of methodologies for conducting a thorough skill-gap analysis. This analysis is essential to ensure that the strategies developed are in line with industry needs and contribute to the broader goals of sustainable development in Kenya.

The University will host an Inaugural E-Mobility workshop on August 30,2024 in partnership with @GGFI_kenya @AfricanEv
