    Glovo has announced the appointment of Sonali Patel Visram as its new Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) for Kenya. Sonali brings with her vast experience with over a decade of experience in business development and e-commerce. She has a distinguished track record of driving revenue growth and operational excellence in the on-demand services sector.

    She previously served as the Commercial Director of Jumia Food Kenya, where she played a pivotal role in shaping growth strategies and optimizing operational efficiency.

    “Sonali’s appointment comes at a pivotal moment for Glovo Kenya,” said Caroline Mutuku, General Manager of Glovo Kenya. “Her proven expertise in business development and operational excellence, combined with her strategic vision, make her the ideal leader to drive our commercial operations forward.”

    In her new role, Sonali will oversee Glovo’s commercial operations in Kenya, focusing on business development, partnerships, and revenue optimization. 

    “I am excited to join Glovo and to lead the commercial team driving strategic initiatives and growth in a fast-paced environment. I look forward to leveraging my experience to make a meaningful impact and contributing to Glovo’s success in Kenya.” enthused Sonali Patel Visram.

Sonali’s leadership will play a crucial role in achieving these objectives, ensuring Glovo remains at the forefront of the rapidly evolving delivery landscape amidst increasing competition from international brands entering the market.
