Xiaomi Kenya has today announced the availability of yet another smartphone, the Redmi A3, in Kenya. The phone is available in the country starting from Ksh 11,599.
Xiaomi says the Redmi A3 is the perfect gift for someone this April Holiday season. The phone features a stylish design, a large high refresh rate display, AI dual camera and much more. This is the successor to the Redmi A2 from last year. The Xiaomi A series has really dominated the entry level smartphone segment and I do not see it being dethroned anytime soon.

All Redmi A3 models have a large, circular, finely detailed camera deco that presents a different sheen depending on the angle of refraction and lighting environment. They have a thin body measuring around 8.3 mm.

According to Xiaomi, the 90Hz refresh rate delivers a silky smooth, immersive experience that defies its price-point. The company has also included Corning gorilla Glass 3 for screen durability and protection. This is not something you can find on most other smartphones within this price. For eye-care protection, there is DC dimming that reduces exposure to blue light and overall flicker.
The Redmi A3 supports advanced security features including both Face Unlock, and Fingerprint Unlock through the side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The phone also supports extended memory technology that expands available RAM to up to 8GB.
The 5000 mAh battery can easily last an entire day and supports 10W charging.
