    itel S23+ is Set to launch in Kenya for Ksh 22,400

    The itel S23+ is launching inKenya with a recommended retail price of Ksh 22,400. This will be the most expensive phone from the company. At this price, it will be a direct competitor to the Redmi 12, OPPO A18 just to name a couple. 

    The S23+ will sort of be itel’s flagship smartphone for 2023 with a slightly curved display. In a statement, itel says, “The itel S23+ is poised to revolutionize the smartphone experience with its cutting-edge technology and innovative features, all within an incredible price range.

    AMOLED Display 

    The display is this phone’s key selling point.  It is a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED curved screen, which takes visual excellence to new heights. The screen’s 59-degree curvature creates an inviting visual experience that wraps around the edges, immersing users into their content. 

    The 99% DCI-P3 color saturation, an improvement of 12% over its predecessor, ensures that colors are vibrant, accurate, and true-to-life. 

    The itel S23+ has an in-display fingerprint scanner. The display has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 to keep it safe against accidental drops and scratches.

    Android 13

    Powering the itel S23 itel OS13 which is based on Android 13. This is integrated with the Aivana GPT voice assistant, offering automate support for voice-operated phone calls, WhatsApp, music, SMS, weather, map navigation, alarm clock, search, translation, phone settings, and more, to help you perform tasks quickly and easily using voice commands, saving you time and effort.

    It also comes with dynamic bar (read dynamic island) for easier access to crucial notifications. 

    The S23+ comes with the Unisoc Tiger T616 processor and either 4 or 8GB of RAM both of which are expandable to a total of 8 and 16GB of RAM respectively. For storage, the phone is available in 128 or 256 GB. 

    Providing all the juice is a 5000 mAh battery that supports 18W charging speeds. 

    50MP Main Camera

    Photography enthusiasts will like this phone as it has a 50MP wide lens at the back paired with a 0.08 MP sensor. A 32 MP front facing camera handles all your selfie needs. The  Eye Tracking mode guarantees that no moment goes unnoticed, facilitating the capture of impeccable portraits. The Portrait Lite feature takes your portrait photography to new heights, by offering a suite of personalized options to meticulously enhance every aspect of your photo, from skin tone to facial features and face shape. 

    36 Month Warranty 

    itel is offering 36-month warranty for the S23+ and 6-month free screen replacement. This just shows you how confident the company is with this product.
