    Xiaomi has expanded its smartphone portfolio in Kenya with the introduction of the Redmi 12. The phone is available starting from Ksh 20,799. Xiaomi says it is a smartphone that redefines the game by offering top-tier specifications at an unbeatable price 

    The Redmi 12 has a 6.79 inch FHD+ display and is powered by the MediaTek Helio G88 processor. The display has an adaptive 90Hz refresh rate and is SGS Low Blue Light certified. 

    With cameras being important for most phone buyers, the Redmi 12 has a triple camera system at the back. At the core is a 50MP main sensor that can capture stunning details. Complementing this is an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro lens. 

    Redmi 12 Variants

    Redmi 12 offers flexibility when it comes to storage. You can choose from three variants to meet your needs and budget: 

    • 4GB RAM + 128GB storage starting at just Kshs 20,799.
    • 8GB RAM + 128GB storage available at Kshs 22,099.
    • The top-tier 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model, priced at Kshs 24,099.

    With these choices, you can find the Redmi 12 that best suits your requirements, whether you’re a casual user or a power user.

    The Redmi 12 offers a sleek and stylish design that’s comfortable to hold. The glass back and new camera design add a touch of elegance to the smartphone. Plus, it comes with an IP53 rating, making it dust and stain-resistant. 

    Decently Powerful

    Under the hood, the Redmi 12 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G88 processor, which can clock up to 2.0GHz. It also includes expandable storage of up to 1 TB. 

    The Redmi 12 comes with a 5000 mAh battery that supports 18W charging. This battery should easily last an entire day on a single charge.
