Tecno is set to launch its first flip smartphone, the Tecno Phantom V Flip, later this month. The foldable smartphone market is rapidly expanding with shipments expected to exceed 48 million by 2027 and Tecno wants a piece of that.
Earlier this year, Tecno unveiled the Phantom V Fold, its first foldable smartphone to take on the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold series. The Phantom V Flip on the other hand will be a direct competitor to the Galaxy Z Flip. Tecno is yet to confirm the existence of this phone but it does have an event on September 22 in Singapore where we are confident the phone will be on display. The event will start at 3PM Singapore time which is 10 am in Kenya.
The Phantom V Flip is said to have a circular camera module at the back. This is different from other flip phones such as the Galaxy Z Flip and the OPPO Find N2 Flip.

Tecno MegaBook T1 2023 Launch
Besides the Phantom V Flip, Tecno is also expected to launch the MegaBook T1 2023 14″ laptop at the event. Not much is known about this laptop at this point but we should have that information in the coming weeks.
