The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12S is one of the devices in the Redmi Note 12 series to launch in Kenya. The phone is available on Jumia starting from Ksh 30,500. This phone is a direct competitor to a number of devices including the Samsung Galaxy A24 and to some extent the  Infinix Note 30 Pro. This seems to be the most competitive price range in Kenya at the moment as we have a number of very good devices that offer their own unique experiences.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12S takes over from the Redmi Note 11S from last year. The Note 12S is not that different from the 11S and we only get a handful of upgrades. This is the case with most of the other devices in the Redmi Note 12 series and I just wonder what the company’s plan is with that. If you already have any Redmi Note 11 series, getting a Note 12 including the Note 12S is not really worth it.

Even with that said, the Redmi Note 12S is still a decent phone at its price. Have a look at its specifications below.
