The Infinix Hot 30 is one of the latest smartphones from the company to launch in Kenya. Priced at Ksh 22,899, the phone is currently available in stores and can be purchased online through Jumia as well as through most smartphone retailers across the country. As the first major release from Infinix this year, the Hot 30 is the successor to the Infinix Hot 20 from last year. In this article, we will take a closer look at the top 5 things to love about the Infinix Hot 30.

    Design and Available Colors

Compared to previous Infinix Hot devices, the Hot 30 looks modern and well-built. The design is not that different from most other smartphones on the market these days, with a plastic back and a metallic side frame. However, the company has made things better with the available color options to make it stand out. The Sonic White color option, which is reflective with different colors depending on the angle, is a refreshing addition to the Infinix Hot series. The camera module is made up of two cameras and Quad LED flash, which take up a significant size at the back but still give the phone a clean look.

    Display

The Infinix Hot 30 has a large 6.78-inch display with 1080 x 2460 pixel resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. The refresh rate ensures you enjoy a smooth scrolling experience, and the display is perfect for anything you plan to do on your phone. The brightness level of the display is impressive, making it easily usable outdoors under direct sunlight. The colors are also punchy, making it perfect for media consumption.

    Camera

The Infinix Hot 30 has a total of 3 cameras, two at the back and one for selfies. The main camera at the back is a 50 MP one which takes accurate photos with vibrant colors. The camera performs well even in low light conditions, delivering good photos and videos with little noise. More details on the performance of the camera in different lighting conditions would be helpful.

    Performance

The Hot 30 comes with an older processor, but it still gets the job done well. The Helio G88 paired with 8GB of RAM is a good combination for day-to-day tasks as well as for running demanding applications. For a reliable phone, the Hot 30 is worth considering. A comparison with other phones in its price range would be useful to see how it stacks up.

    Battery

The Hot 30 has a 5,000 mAh battery, which can last an entire day on a single charge, even for heavy users. This means you don’t have to worry about carrying a charger with you most of the time. The battery supports 33W fast charging, so it can be topped up quickly if need be.
