OPPO is expanding its smartphone portfolio in Kenya with the launch of the OPPO A77s. This phone is available through most smartphone retailers including Jumia for around Ksh 30,000.  This is the second device in the OPPO A77 family to launch in Kenya as the standard variant was launched a few months back.

The A77 is available for around Ksh 27,000 which is slightly cheaper that what the A77s is retailing for. OPPO seems keen on capturing this market segment that no manufacturer has conquered just yet.

With the launch of the OPPO A77s, the company has also launched the #A77sFootballMoments campaign set to inspire Kenyan football fans to capture their most memorable and inspirational football moments this football season.

“As a continued partnership with football star David “cheche” Ochieng, OPPO is calling upon  Kenyan football fans to take part in the #A77sFootballMoments  challenge and stand a chance to win a OPPO A77s ; the brand’s latest addition to the OPPO A series,” the company said in a statement.

How to participate in the #A77sFootballMoments Campaign

    • To participate in the #A77sFootballMoments, follow @OPPO Kenya Instagram and Facebook page.
    • Post your moments with the hashtag #A77sFootballMoments from 5th December 2022 to December 18th 2022.

Winners will be chosen based on their level of creativity so the more creative a user is when capturing these moments, the higher their chance to win. There are two OPPO A77s phones to be won. “The love of football inspires many people, including Kenyans, and technological improvements enable us to watch and record games with pocket-sized gadgets, turning those fleeting moments of inspiration into everlasting memories. With the latest addition to the OPPO A series, A77s fans get a chance to capture their most memorable moments while experiencing long-lasting battery, stylish design and powerful imaging capabilities,” said Fredrique Achieng, PR Manager, OPPO Kenya.

    The OPPO A77s Specifications

The OPPO A77s comes with a 50MP main camera supported by a 2MP depth camera. The front camera features an 8MP front camera to deliver impressive selfies equipped with a Selfie HDR, providing users with high quality and realistic selfies.

It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor that is paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage space.

It supports 33W SUPERVOOC Flash Charge and a 5,000mAh large battery provides greater freedom when using the A77s.
