With the official unveiling of the new premium Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Mobile platform, we should expect to see smartphones roll out with this processor in the coming months. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 is the successor to the Snapdragon 888 and does come with some upgrades as you’d expect.
The next flagship smartphone from OPPO will be one of the first ones to come with this new processor. This smartphone will be released during the first quarter of 2022 according to the company.
