Vivo is set to launch yet another smartphone in Kenya. The company has announced that it will be launching the vivo Y53s in the country soon. The company has confirmed that the Y53s will be available in stores in Kenya as from August 4, less than a week from today. The phone will be available on Jumia as well as vivo brand shops across the country.

Vivo has not been very active in the smartphone space in Kenya and even though the company has launched a few devices this year, none of them has stood out. The company has not invested lot in marketing these devices and this might be the reason why it has struggled this year.

According to Mr. James Irungu, vivo Kenya Brand and Communications Manager, the brand seeks to create products with leapfrog performance and trendsetting design at an affordable price, to build a smart life for young people with the Internet of things and is looking to launching more exciting products in the market.
