The realme 7i is set to be Launched In Kenya Next Month

realme 7i in kenya

The realme 7i is set to be launched in Kenya early next month (November 10th to be exact). The launch will be through the company’s social media pages as from 11am. You will be able to catch it on their Facebook and YouTube pages on the said date.

The realme 7i will join the realme 6, C15, C11, C3 and the recently launched realme Buds Q that was launched in Kenya last week. This is quite a good line-up for a brand that has been operating in Kenya for just a few months.

The pricing of the realme 7i has not been revealed but in other markets where the phone is available it retails for approximately Ksh 18,000 for the base model. When launched in Kenya, expect its price to be around this give or take a few thousand shillings.

Realme 7i specifications

The realme 7i comes with a 6.5-inch display with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. This display has a 90Hz refresh rate which is quite impressive and will be a big deal if realme keeps the price that I indicated above. This display is protected with Corning Gorilla 3.

Under the hood the realme 7i is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor (octa-core). This is paired with either 4 or 8GB of RAM with either 64 or 128GB of internal storage space. It comes with Android 10 out of the box with realme UI on top.

For your photos, the realme 7i has a quad setup at the back that is made up of a 64MP main sensor, an 8MP ultrawide angle sensor, 2MP monochrome sensor and another 2MP sensor. For selfies, the phone features a 16MP Sony sensor.

Providing all the power is a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. This is not very fast but it should save you some time when charging.

I will update you on the details of this phone when I have them.
