The Official Opening of the Huawei Experience Store at The Sarit Centre is This Weekend

Huawei is set to open a new Experience Store this weekend at the Sarit Centre. The company will join Xiaomi which opened its Mi Home Store at the same mall late last year. The store is already open at the moment but the official opening is this Saturday from 10am to 7pm. The store is located at the mall’s New Wing.

With the opening of the new Experience Store, Huawei will be able to showcase some of its product to potential customers who access that particular mall. The company opened its first retail store in the country back in 2015 but I am not sure if it is there still. This new addition will address the rise in demand for not only smartphones but their accessories and additional products.

As is the norm, there will be a number of products available at the Experience store this weekend including the recently unveiled smartphone, the Huawei Nova 5T. This phone has been available on pre-order in the country and you will be able to get it that day. It is not clear if this particular phone will be discounted during the official opening of the store but if it does not, be ready to part with Ksh 42,000 if you want one.

Having an Experience store makes sense for Huawei as the company has a ton of products just like Xiaomi. The company does not just focus on smartphones but rather has a smart home products that are gaining popularity in the country, at least from what I see.

    Freebies and Discounts

During the official opening of the store, the first 100 people to show up will get the Huawei Band 3e worth Kshs 2,599. The additional 200 people will get other gifts that the company has not disclosed.  If you have been eyeing the Band 3e, this is the chance to get one for yourself.

For some reason, you will have to pay Ksh 100 at the event or through TicketSasa to get a special offer voucher. This complicates things and makes no sense to me, I mean, why charge people to come and see the official opening of the store. Huawei clearly does not need this money and they should not have made such a move to begin with.

During this day, there will be offers on all accessories including the Huawei Band 4e that will be available for 50% off for the first 200 people. The new Huawei Watch GT2 will be available at 20% discount. Its current retail price is set at Ksh 26,000 and at that day you will be able to grab it for Ksh 20,800. This is a good deal and is the price you can get the first-generation GT watch for.

There will be lucky draws every hour and you stand a chance of winning a smartphone and Accessories including the Watch GT2, Huawei FreeBuds 3, Huawei Band4, Huawei Smart Scale, Huawei Mini Speaker, FreeLace, Bluetooth Headset just to name a few.
