We have seen inventions in the mobile industry at its peak, and currently, the mid-range category is the best range to have a better value for money device. Here is where new inventions occur that add flair to the general smartphone experience.

In the age where smartphones seem to be deprived of space in the internals for the inclusion of more features, Blackview made possible what we could not expect in a smartphone. Although they are not the pioneers in this category -at least one of their own is commercially available.

Blackview Max 1 Laser Projector phone brings in handy a laser projector which will make you ditch your ordinary projector and maybe your need for a bigger TV screen too. The phone features a 6-inch AMOLED display with 1080p resolution and an 18:9 screen to body ratio.

Because it can get tricky to have a standard rectangular projection depending on where you will place your device, this device supports trapezoidal correction to give you a rectangular projection at any moment.

Even though you can achieve up to 720p resolution and the projection area can be equal to a 100-inch TV, the laser projector maxes out at 200-inches.

For a more natural hassle-free control while binge-watching your favorite shows, Blackview Max 1 Laser Projector phone comes with an official standard remote control.

The device is powered by a 4700mAh battery which under continuous projection should offer you up to 4.5 hours of screen time. A 12W fast charger comes alongside, but the battery can comfortably charge 2x faster with a 24W rapid charger.

Under the hood, you get a MediaTek Helio P23 Octa-core CPU paired with a Mali G71 GPU, 6GB of RAM, 64GB of ROM and Android 8.1 Oreo. Other features include a Dual 16MP + 0.3MP front-facing camera, a 16.0 MP rear camera,

All this is going for sale at $400 (approx. Ksh 40,000), but you can still go for the Luxury Edition which costs $40 more, and you’ll get selfie stick, remote control, and a Bluetooth speaker. The phone is already available in Kenya, and you can get it at around Ksh 52,000.
