The Huawei P20 Lite in Kenya is one of the latest smartphones targeting those buyers looking for a powerful and reliable mid-range device. The phone will be available exclusively on Jumia for Ksh 32,000, quite affordable if you ask me. This phone is here to compete with the likes of the OPPO F5 and OPPO F7. For the last one year or so, Huawei has been very quiet but it looks like the company is back and wants to steal the spotlight from OPPO. For the period that Huawei has been missing, OPPO has made a name for itself and the completion between these two will be interesting to watch.
The Huawei P20 Lite is the smaller sibling to the P20 and P20 Pro that the company announced last month. The Huawei P20 Pro is known for its triple camera setup but we will not be getting that on the ‘Lite’ variant just yet.
