As you can see from the specifications above, the Nokia 1 is not the most exciting Android smartphone out there. This is not the company’s aim though, it wants to offer a better experience and build quality compared to what is available on the market. This sounds like a good plan but it is hard to say if it will work for the company. Most consumers in Kenya are attracted to devices primarily by their specifications and it will be interesting to see if Nokia will be able to change that. The company is positioning the Nokia 1and its other devices are alternatives to those who do not want cheap smartphones from China that most people consider to be of poor quality.

As mentioned above, the price of the Nokia 1 in Kenya will be Ksh 9,500. You will be able to get the phone for a lower price depending on where you get it from and as time goes by. The phone will be available from most retail stores in the country and through online channels.
