    When you think of HTC, most people imagine of some premium smartphones whose prices are not that cheap. To be fair, HTC makes some good and pricey phones but the company also has a few devices at reasonable prices. Below are fives of the cheapest and decent HTC devices you can get in Kenya at the moment. This list is compiled from the HTC phones you can get from most e-commerce websites in Kenya including Jumia and Kilimall.

    The HTC Desire 310 is one of the cheapest HTC phones you can get in Kenya. It is a true entry level smartphone with some of the most basic features you can get. If you are looking for top of the line entry level smartphone, this is not it as its specs are just perfect for those switching from feature phones.

    The HTC Desire 320 is the successor to the Desire 310. The Desire 320 was announced in January 2015 so is technically a newer device compared to the 310. As for the specs, the Desire 320 has almost similar specs as the Desire 310.

    Processor: 1.3 GHz Quad-core processor

    RAM: 512 MB/ 1 GB

    The retail price of the HTC Desire 320 starts from Ksh 9,800.

    The HTC Desire 326G

    The HTC Desire 326G is also a 2015 smartphone and is also an entry level device with entry level specs. It is also an upgrade of the Desire 320 and has been available since June 2015. It is a dual SIM device and that is why its specs make it perfect for a market such as Kenya.

    The HTC Desire 526G Plus and the HTC Desire 526G have very similar specs. These are more of mid low end smartphones you can get if the Desire 300 series devices are not for you. As for specs, it is doesn’t have mind blowing specs.

    Processor: 1.7 GHz Octa-core (for the 526G PLUS) and 1.3GHz Quad core (for the 526G)

    Android Version: Android 4.4.2 KitKat

    Camera: 8 MP with LED flash at the back with a 2MP front facing one

    Battery: 2000 mAh removable battery

    The retail price of the HTC Desire 526G Plus starts from Ksh 13,500 while the Desire 526G starts from Ksh 14,000.

    The HTC Desire 616 was first announced in 2014 so it has been around for almost two years. It has some decent specs and that is why it made it to this list. It is an upper low end or lower mid-range smartphone that is perfect for anyone who wants to taste what HTC is all about without spending a fortune on a premium device.
