Oppo is known for its game changing Smartphones that even though have not take over the market, they are still revolutionary and have positive sales figures. The company does not compete directly with other established manufacturers but rather focuses on innovative Smartphones that appeal to the real Smartphone enthusiasts.

To take its innovative nature even further, Oppo has quietly unveiled a new Smartphone to the market. It is not clear why Oppo chose to unveil this new Smartphone quietly, but what we know is that it is an impressive device.

The Smartphone referred to as Oppo 3000 has some not so bad specs and only retails at $256 (approximately Kshs. 24,000 before taxes).

The Oppo 3000 has a 4.7 inch display that measures 137 x 68.8 x 8.95mm. It has a resolution of 720p which is not something I will complain about given its price.

Inside, the Oppo 3000 is powered by a 64-bit 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410. This may not be the very powerful Snapdragon 810 processor but will still get the job done. It has 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage space that can be expanded up to 128 GB using a microSD card.

The Oppo 3000 has an 8MP main camera made by Sony with a 5MP wide-angle front facing camera for selfies. A 2000mAh battery that supports Oppo’s VOOC charging technology provides the necessary power to this Smartphone.

The phone was just launched in China and there is no news if it will be available for international markets.
