When buying your first phone, chances are that you do not want to spend all your money on it. This is what the engineers at Microsoft had in mind when they started working on the Nokia 215. The Nokia 215 stands out as being the most affordable Internet-ready phone from the company. The company announced this device a few hours ago and says it is perfect to connect and introduce first-time mobile phone buyers to the internet.

The Nokia 215 is available in both Single and Dual SIM variants and will retail at $29 (approximately Kshs 2,600).

According to Jo Harlow, corporate vice president of Microsoft Devices Group, “The Nokia 215 is perfect for people looking for their first mobile device, or those wanting to upgrade to enjoy affordable digital and social media services, like Facebook and Messenger.” He went ahead to say, “With our ultra-affordable mobile phones and digital services, we see an inspiring opportunity to connect the next billion people to the Internet for the first time.”
