If you are a fan of the Nexus line of devices, you may know by now that both the Nexus 6 Smartphone and Nexus 9 tablets are around the corner. Rumours of the Nexus 6 and Nexus 9 have been around for a while and speculation is that Google will officially unveil them today (Sept. 15). We are still not sure if Google is going to hold a big event to introduce these devices but with no event invites sent out, it may just be a low-key launch.

According to sources, Google will not have any presentation to introduce these devices but will rather do it via a blog post. This is not surprising for Google as it has followed the same path before. The specs for the Nexus 9 include an 8.9 inch screen, a 64-bit NVIDIA processor, two front facing speakers and will be powered by Android L. The Nexus 9 tablet will be available for pre-order as from this Friday and will be available in retail stores as from November 3.

For the Nexus 6, not much is known at the moment but the device is said to have been made by Motorola. With such mystery surrounding this Smartphone, even the launch name can be something entirely different than what we expect.

Even though the name is a mystery, we are confident that the Smartphone and tablet will be unveiled today so we can confirm the name and other detail later on.
