With the rumours and leaks of the iPhone 6 coming out almost daily, it gets overwhelming at times to keep track. The rumours so far have shown us what to expect from the iPhone 6 external specs and that to expect two version, a 4.7 inch and a 5.5 inch iPhone 6. The 4.7-inch variant is expected to launch this September but the 5.5-inch variant may be unveiled next year.

With the September date fast approaching, expect more rumours and leaks to surface. The latest leak that has surfaced suggests that the Apple logo on the back of the iPhone will act as a notification light. This will be pretty cool if it turns out true.

This feature is not new to Apple as the logo on the MacBook line-up lights up. What is not clear is if the logo will just light up like on MacBooks or if it will act as a notification light. These are two features and it will be interesting to see either one of the two.

This leak is from USwitch and shows the rear of the iPhone with a new plastic logo that is very thin to allow light to pass through. The leak also suggests the iPhone 6 will have an NFC chip on top of the notification logo.

The leaks goes ahead to suggest that the logo could light up in different colours for different notifications. Whether this end up being true or not is still up for debate as we cannot tell for sure from the leaks that they are true. Let’s just hope that Apple makes it a reality.
