Samsung reveals two Galaxy Mega Smartphones

Samsung has today introduced two new smartphones to its Galaxy family, the 6.3 inch Galaxy Mega and the 5.8 inch Galaxy Mega. According to Samsung, the Galaxy Mega smartphones will be a line of big screen smartphones that the company is set to unveil.

The 6.3-inch mega is clearly the higher end smartphone of the two as it packs some amazing features when compared to the 5.8-inch mega. The 6.3-inch mega will pack a HD screen (probably 720p) and have a 1.7 GHz dual core processor under the hood. In terms of network connectivity, the 6.3-inch mega will support LTE connectivity and a 3200mAh battery will provide all the juice needed to power this device.

The 5.8 inch model will have a qHD screen (960 x 540) and will be powered by a 1.4 GHz processor while a 2600 mAh battery will provide all the needed juice, this is clearly a step down when compared to the 6.3 inch model.

Both these devices will run on Android 4.2 with 1.5 GB of RAM and will have an 8 Megapixel rear facing camera and a 1.9 Megapixel front facing camera.

Samsung has not revealed pricing for these two devices but expect them to retail at prices similar to most other high-end smartphones.
