A Touch-Screen Laptop from Google due This Year

According to a report from the Wall Street Journal, Google and an unnamed manufacturer will launch a new touch screen laptop that will be powered with Chrome Operating System. It is believed that Google has already developed the laptop and it is just awaiting the official launch.

As expected the device will come with cloud computing and will go on sale sometime this year.

The move by Google will rival one of its close competitors, Microsoft, that currently has its Windows touch screen laptops in the market.

It seems that touch screen laptops will eventually dominate the PC market; this is according to the president of Acer Jim Wong who said this late last year.

The device will be expected to cost the same as the previous Chromebooks by Samsung and Acer.
