Sony Finally Unveils The Xperia Tablet Z

Last week we told you about the leaked specs of what was believed to be the Sony Xperia Tablet Z. Today we can confidently tell you that Sony unveiled the Xperia Tablet Z earlier yesterday in Japan.

The tablet borrows most of its specs, such as the 10.1-inch screen, from its smartphone counterpart, the Xperia Z. Some of the specs and features you should expect to get on his device include a Qualcomm 1.5 GHz quad core processor, a 10.1-inch screen display of 1920 x 1200, 2GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage that is expandable.

The tablet will also run on Mobile Bravia Engine 2 with Android 4.1 under the hood so you should expect it to perform very well, an 8.1 megapixel rear facing Exmore camera will come standard with this tablet. Sony has also fit the tablet with their own virtual surround sound technology referred to as “S-Force”.

The Xperia Tablet Z will be very thin at 6.9 mm and also very light weighing 495 g. just like the Xperia Z smartphone, the tablet is both dustproof and waterproof so you will not have to worry if you drop it in water.
