LG’s curret flagship smartphone is the G6. When the company launched this phone, the reception was quite good but given that this was a flagship device, not everyone is able to get it. With that said, it was rumoured that LG was working on miniature version of the G6 that we now know will be called the LG Q6.
We got a confirmation of the name from Technobufallo a couple of days ago and now we have information that the company will be launching this phone on July 11. LG is already sending out press invites to an event it has on July 11 and that is where we expect to see the Q6. The event will be in Poland and one version of the invite clearly has Q6 in it and this hints that the event is about that phone.
In another version of the invite, there is no Q6 but rather the hashtag “#LGBarbeQ”. Well, what do you think the Q here stands for? The LG Q6?
The invites do not point out what we should expect from the LG Q6 but previous rumors revealed that it will not be that bad of a phoe as it will come with a 5.4 inch display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. This is the same aspect ratio found on the G6 and it looks like the company isn’t ditching it.
The processor to be used here is unknown but we expect the RAM to be 3GB and probabaly 32GB of internal storage space. A 13MP camera will be included at the back and an 8MP front facing one. We will know about the other specifications and features as we get close to July 11. Does this look like a device you will get?
