Christmas is around the corner and this means that you will be shopping for gifts and anything in between. If you are planning to do online shopping (and you should), there quite a number of sites you can use. you don’t have to use every e-commerce platform out there and below are the three main ones that am personally planning to use and so should you.
Kaymu
Kaymu is one of the many companies under the Africa Internet Group, the company behind Jumia, Easy Taxi, Hellofood among others. Kaymu has a wide variety of products that are sold by different retailers so you are more likely to get very attractive prices. Using this platform, gives you flexibility in terms of payment and delivery options.
When making payments, you can choose to do so with cash when the goods you buy are delivered or pay through MPesa or Airtel money. As for delivery, you can choose to have the product delivered to you or you can go pick them up yourself from the retailer. The second option is perfect for those who find it much easier to pick their goods or those who don’t trust these e-commerce platforms yet.
Kaymu already has some Christmas deals which you can check out here >> http://www.kaymu.co.ke/christmas/
Rupu
If you are looking for the lowest prices in town, then Rupu is where you should be. Rupu is a group buying site that strives to bring you the lowest prices so is perfect for those who want to save a few shillings here and there. You can get up to 50% off on some products/services when using Rupu.
The only downside with Rupu is that there are not that many products and services you can buy. All the products listed on the site are discounted and very limited so you may not end up finding what you really want. Even though there is a possibility of you not finding what you want, you should still head over to Rupu to see if you can get a good deal this festive season.
Kilimall
If you are still in for some great deals, Kilimall is the next site you should consider. Kilimall rivals Jumia and the former has been rising fast this year. Kilimall has been landing the new smartphone manufacturers who launched their devices in Kenya so it is the best site for you if you want great deals on smartphones.

I have chosen Kilimall over Jumia since it has been very active and aggressive this year and I have not heard of anyone who has used it and was disappointed. They also have some exclusive deals which you can’t find anywhere else.
So if you will be shopping online, make sure you check out these three sites.
