In some part of the world, Flip phones are still popular if we are to go by the recent moves by LG and Samsung. LG recently unveiled the LG Wine smart flip phone and its fierce rival, Samsung, has also decided to come out with its flip phone.
Samsung quietly announced its latest flip phone in China as everyone was focusing on its latest flagship devices, the Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy S6 Edge+.
With this flip phone, Samsung has showed us that flip phones can still have some amazing specs. It will have a dual 3.9-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 768 x 1280 pixels. This display will be protected by Gorilla Glass 4. Have a look at the phone below.
At the back is a 16MP camera while at the front sits a 6MP camera. This phone is powered by Snapdragon 808 chipset which is something I was not expecting at all. The phone has 16GB of internal storage space available and this can be expanded up to 128GB using a MicroSD card.
This is actually a flip phone that I would buy but am not sure Samsung will take it out of Asia at the moment.
