YouTube’s Web video player gets updated to give it a sleek transparent look

Untitled

If you are always on YouTube, you may have already noticed that it’s Video Player for the Web has a new look. YouTube started the global roll out this new interface yesterday. This new interface makes it beautiful to look at and operate. With this new interface, the control panels on videos are now transparent for a hopefully better experience and do not just sit on the video as before.

YouTube began testing this new feature a few months back in April and completed the process yesterday and that is when the company made it available to everyone globally.

YouTube announced the update through its Twitter account as you can see below.

With this new interface, videos of YouTube look really good as I have noticed and the controls are sleek and easy to use. With the controls floating on the video and disappearing when you are not using them, you get more screen space to view your videos.
