Every year, Samsung adds a new phablet to the Galaxy Note family. The Galaxy Note series made phablets cool way before most manufacturers considered them. As we get close to the end of the year, we expect to see the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 that will take over from the Galaxy Note 4 that was unveiled last year. There have been many rumors and leaks about the Galaxy Note 5 but I have decided to compile a list of the features about this phablet that we know so far.
4GB of RAM
The Galaxy S5 is expected to come with 4GB of RAM that will make it one of the few Smartphones that ship with this kind of RAM. This RAM makes it slightly better that the Galaxy Note 4 which has 3GB of RAM.
Exynos 7422 Processor
Just like Samsung’s current flagship, the Galaxy S5, the Galaxy Note 5 will be powered by the company’s own Exynos 7422 Processor. The octa-core 64-bit CPU on the Note 5 gives a seamless experience when combined with the 4GB of RAM.
Massive Super AMOLED display
As for the screen, we have heard that Samsung is planning to use a 5.67-inch Super AMOLED QHD display. This makes it almost the same size and the Galaxy note 4. This display will have a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.
USB Type-C port
The Galaxy Note 5 is expected to be among the first Smartphones to come with USB Type-C port. This type of USB will instantly increase data transfer speeds to and from the phablet.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will have a massive 4100mAh battery to provide it with all the power it needs. This massive battery is one of the biggest currently on the market and will surely help Samsung win some souls.
Samsung will unveil the Galaxy Note 5 anytime from next month so keep it here for more information.
