USB Type C port has been said to be the next technology we will see on our devices (Smartphones, laptops, tablets etc). Even though USB Type-C port has only been around for a very short while, we first came to hear about this after Apple announced the new MacBook will have this type of USB port. Keep in mind that Apple did not invent USB Type-C but it was just the first big manufacturers to include it on its devices.
OnePlus, the markers of the very popular smartphone, OnePlus One, have revealed that their next flagship, the OnePlus Two, will come with USB Type-C port. It will make sense for OnePlus to include this type of USB on its next flagship and this will make it one of the top smartphone manufactures to use it.

Commenting on this, OnePlus says it wants “to lead the way in power connectivity.” This will definitely put some pressure on the other manufacturers such as Samsung, LG and Microsoft.
USB Type-C is quite popular because of its irreversible nature that makes it possible to connect with both sides of the USB. This means that it doesn’t matter which side you connect the cable with. USB Type C is still a relatively new feature so expect to see more i=of it as time goes by.
Not much about this phone has been revealed but we will know more as time goes by.
