Jumia’s App for Android Gets Its First Major Update That Will See It Perform Better and Faster

To ensure customers using its Android app have the best experience, Jumia has decided to roll out a major update for its app. This update will improve the app’s performance by making it fast and smooth. With this new app, customers can expect to browse easily through the over 10,000 products Jumia has in stock.

The app has also been customized to filter by country and alert users of the latest deals and offers at the swipe of the finger.

Commenting on this update, Parinaz Firozi, MD Jumia Kenya said, “We are excited to launch our updated android app. You can search, buy, pay and track your order seamlessly anywhere, anytime on your android smartphone.”

The search bar allows users to find the products they desire by brand, lowest price, highest price, most popular, by color, new in, best rating and offers the option to Pay on delivery, mobile money transfer or credit card.

Additionally customers can read, rate and review products through the app. Firozi adds that additional functionality will be coming to other mobile apps too in the near future to further improve the mobile shopper’s experience. The new android version is available in the play store for free.
