The Microsoft Lumia 430 is now available in Kenya

Yesterday, Microsoft introduced three new devices to the Kenyan market. The three are the Lumia 640, Lumia 640 XL and Lumia 430 Smartphones. We have already told you about the Lumia 640 and 640 XL and we will look at the Lumia 430 in this article.

The Lumia 430 Dual SIM is built with Windows Phone 8.1 software with a dual-core CPU running at 1.2GHz. This is by far the most affordably priced Lumia and will retail at only Kshs 8,850.

The device comes preloaded with Microsoft Office, Skype and OneDrive and is designed to help you #AchieveMore at work, at play and on the go. It also features a compact, durable and colorful design with a vivid 4-inch WVGA display that brings all the latest apps, games and videos to life.

With Lumia 430, you can instantly #AchieveMore every day, and use Microsoft Office and Outlook for work and personal productivity. You can also access up to 30 GB of free cloud storage on OneDrive for safekeeping important content, experience the fun of video calls with Skype-integrated calling and a front-facing camera.

“The Lumia 430 Dual SIM continues our commitment to combining the right hardware, software, services and apps with the right price to give people a smartphone they can afford and be proud to use,” Ms. Abdullahi said.

And as Microsoft unveiled this new range of devices, the #AchieveMore campaign, a national consumer promotion was also launched to reward customers with five Chevrolet Cruze cars and 40 Lumia 640 XL devices to be won over the promotion period.

To participate in the consumer campaign, all you need to do is purchase any Lumia phone with a valid 12 months warranty in Kenya activate it and send a text message containing IMEI number to 22860 during the program period. Winners will be contacted via +254 2301641 and announced on the Lumia East Africa Facebook and Twitter pages
