We had previously told you that Huawei was looking at the April 15 date to unveil its next flagship, the Huawei P8. Well, April 15 came and passed and true to its word, Huawei has unveiled the P8. As you have noticed by now, Huawei has dropped the ‘Ascend’ name from its devices.
The Huawei P8 has a super slim design and measures 6.4mm in thickness making it one of the slimmest Smartphone on the market. It has a full metal unibody design meaning that the battery is non removable.
The Huawei P8 has a 5.2 inch display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. The phone is available in two variants, a 16GB and a 64GB model. The 16GB model is the ‘regular’ version and will be available in titanium grey and mystic champagne colours. This version retails at $499 (Ksh 46,600) before taxes. The 64GB version is the ‘premium’ one and is available in carbon black and prestige gold versions. This version is retailing at $599 (Ksh 56,000) before taxes.
