With Android Lollipop usage on the increase, showing support to older devices is a nice move for Google. Let’s hope the big Smartphone manufacturers follow in these footsteps.

For those keen on security the Lollipop update has the Device Protection feature that allows the tracking of stolen or misplaced Smartphones. When someone tries to factory reset the Smartphone, he/she will still need your login credentials for the process to go through.

The OTA update is 174.5MB in size and is currently rolling out to all Nexus 4 devices in phases.
