Following the successful launch of the Infinix Hot X507 in Kenya, Jumia has decided to challenge itself again by partnering with Innjooo to bring Innjooo branded Smartphones and tablet to Kenya.

Commenting on this, Jumia MD Parinaz Firozi said that the Innjooo Note will retail at Ksh. 11,999. This is very affordable considering the Innjooo Note has a 5.5-inch HD screen, a 13MP main rear facing camera and a 5MP front facing camera for selfies. It has16GB of internal memory with 1GB or RAM.

Providing power to this Smartphone is a 3000mAh Li-Ion battery that looks promising to me even though I haven’t had time to test it.  Unfortunately, you will not be getting the latest Android OS as the Innjooo Note runs on Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box. There is no news of Android 5.0 Lollipop coming to these devices but am sure updating it by yourself is possible.

Other Innjooo branded products launched include the Innjoo T1 phone tablet 7″ 8GB Dual SIM and the Innjoo F2 tablet- 10.1″Dual SIM retailing at Ksh. 9,999 and 10,999 respectively.

Jumia has promised free deliveries of Innjooo products to consumers in Nairobi and all other major towns.

Firozi went further ahead to encourage brands to sell on Jumia online marketplace where they can offer the best prices for their products.

“While selling on the online marketplace, costs like rent, storage fees, wages and salaries, city council/government permits, risks like looting, theft are exempted.” said Firozi “Their shop also gets to be open 24/7 to thousands of customers thus escalating sales and profits.”

Keep it here for the review of Innjooo Smartphones and tablets as soon as I get them.
