Jumia Brings “Black Friday” To Kenya

The Black Friday “noise” most consumers have been hearing and seeing on websites abroad is set to launch in Kenya Tomorrow.Black Friday is kinda a mind game that usually attracts massive sales and best discount deals ever experienced through out the year,featuring double discount rates and crazy price cuts on a variety of products and merchandise.

In major countries like the Us,the event has huge sales in all stores nation wide on the fourth Friday of November after the Thanks giving day.The term “Black Friday originates from black markings left on the tarmac roads due to heavy traffic and congestion on major roads in the Us.

Unlike the Us where the consumers actually have to line up at stores and persevere  long queues or wake up at dawn before the items exhaust,Jumia has made it so easy for Kenyans.You need not wake early or line up at your favorite store to get that smart phone or electronic gadget,with a simple paybill transaction through M pesa,Jumia will bring the Product right at your doorstep.

Kenyans will be saved from the hustle as Jumia will deliver items to buyers’ office or doorstep after which the buyer will then make payment for the product(s).

Interested buyers are invited to sign up for the first Black Friday via the Jumia Kenya portal for updates,or contact them via their social media and email for more information .

This is a deal of a life time,considering the fact  Kenyan cities are always congested and unbearable even when no major event or activity is going on leave alone a “Black Friday”Kenyans Black Friday thanks to Jumia is set to be easy and fast unlike the US where shoppers line up for hours to access stores and endure long hours of traffic jams.

This move is also expected to boost and increase awareness of Kenyans attitude and use of Social media and online Purchasing platforms,which is at its “infant” stage in Kenya
