The Lumia 730 is the latest device under the Lumia brand to hit the Kenyan Market. This is a mid range Smartphone that got the market’s attention because of its 5MP front facing camera. If you are looking for a new Smartphone that will not disappoint, then I suggest you check out the Lumia 730. Below are just some of the reasons why I find the Lumia 730 a must have Smartphone.
Premium Design Language
The Lumia 730 has a premium look and feel even though it is just a mid range Smartphone. I have had the phone for some time now and every person I have met has told me the phone looks great. Most people even imagined that it costs upwards of Kshs. 40,000 which is not the case as the phone costs less than Kshs. 30,000. The phone itself is very light and sits perfectly on the hand thanks to its polycarbonate back cover.
Perfect Size
We all know that consumers want Smartphones with big screens. The Lumia 730 has 4.7-inch screen that is neither too big nor too small. It is just the right size for someone who wants a practical Smartphone they can use any time. With this size, it can easily fit in your pocket, it is also very thin and thus will not bulge out when in your pocket.
Windows Phone 8.1
With the Lumia 730, you will be getting the latest OS from Microsoft, Windows 8.1. Not only that, you will also be getting the Lumia Denim update straight out of the box. The Lumia 730 is among the first Smartphones to ship with this update. The other ones include the Lumia 830 and Lumia 735. High Quality Cameras
The Lumia 730 has front and rear-facing cameras to ensure you capture every moment in your life. The back camera is a 6.7MP Carl Zeis one so you are sure the photos and videos are of high quality. It also has LED flash for taking photos in low light conditions. The front facing camera is what attracted me to this phone, it is a 5MP one that takes very good photos. Buying the Lumia 730 gets you 3 Months Unlimited subscription on Skype. This means you can call mobiles and landlines all over the world for free for the next 3 months. With the Skype integration into the call features on Windows Phone 8.1, you have the ability to seamlessly transfer your phone calls to Skype if you wish to do so. This is a very cool feature if you ask me.
