Apple’s latest Smartphones, the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus are coming to Kenya thanks to Airtel. The company announced today that both these variants will be available for pre-order at selected Airtel shops around the country.
In a statement, Airtel Kenya CEO Adil El Youssefi said, “At Airtel, we’re all about helping our customers get their hands on the latest devices. Our decision to stock the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus speaks to this quest to meet our customer needs and we remain confident that our world-class network will provide a seamless customer experience on this latest incarnation of the iPhone.”
Both the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus represent a complete redesign in Apple’s part and the company has finally ditched its small form factor design for bigger ones that consumers have come to love. Most industry critics were surprised with the move by Apple to come up with the bigger iPhone 6 plus given that the company had previously vowed not to go this way.

Back to Airtel, the company will be offering the new iPhone at different prices depending on the memory size. Below is a complete list of the variants Airtel is currently having on pre-order.

The iPhone 6 is not so cheap as you can see.
