Facebook Boss donates $25 Million To Fight Ebola

The Ebola crisis has not only sparked concern in the health sectors and medics but also tech sectors.The previous article i wrote about Little Moe personally was quite impressive and great about that little dude showing clearly efforts made by scientists to fight this crisis.Corporate responsibility of every organization is important and organization to the society.Like the recent trending ice bucket challenge which was aimed at creating donor awareness and charitable actions from individuals ,groups and organizations.

Facebook the largest online social platform has not been left behind.The company’s CEO donated a stunning $25Million dollars to help medical personnel fight the menace.Latest reports from World Health Organization warned of 10,000 new Ebola infections every week,in the coming two months.

In a Press conference Zuckerberg said, “We need to get Ebola under control in the near term so that it doesn’t spread further and become a long term global health crisis that we end up fighting for decades at large scale, like HIV or polio,” he said on Facebook “We believe our grant is the quickest way to empower the CDC and the experts in this field to prevent this outcome.” Despite West African nations,other 1st class countries like the USA have experienced Ebola with  The United States had its first fatality from the current Ebola outbreak last week when Thomas Eric died in a Dallas hospital last week. One of the medic nurses has also been diagnosed with the disease. More than 8000 deaths have been reported so far in the Western African nations of Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone.
