Celebrate Mashujaa Day by Offering your Personal Hero A Free Easy Taxi ride

Untitled4

As we reflect on how far Kenya has come since independence, Easy Taxi would like to commemorate the occasion by remembering the heroes who contributed to the struggle for freedom against colonial rule.  This Mashujaa day (Heroes Day), Easy Taxi presents an opportunity for each and every Nairobian to celebrate their personal heroes by offering them a FREE Easy Taxi ride worth up to 1000 Kshs.

For your hero to win a free ride with Easy Taxi, simply nominate them on twitter through @EasyTaxiKE and tell us why they are your chosen person.  Your hero will then win a ride that they can redeem on Mashujaa Day between 19th October 23:59pm and 20th October 23:59pm within Nairobi. Once the nominated heroes have downloaded the Easy Taxi app, they can request a taxi from wherever they are in Nairobi. The application is designed to allocate to you the nearest licensed driver and you can track their movement in real time so you know how far he is.

Who is a hero?

TechArena On Telegram

The term hero may vary from person to person but the underlying theme of heroism is  constant throughout in that, these individuals are admired for the things they selflessly do; they contribute towards building the aspirations of those who admire them and go on to prove that despite any perceived limitations, anything is achievable.

This initiative by the world’s largest mobile taxi application Easy Taxi is to show appreciation to the city residents during the Mashujaa Day. Easy Taxi is available on android, iOS, and windows phones.

Note

Founded in April 2012 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, EasyTaxi is a global pioneer in online taxi services. The application connects taxi drivers and passengers, allowing them to experience a fast, convenient, and safe ride, with just a tap of a button. Currently available in over 33 countries and 170 cities, the app has globally redefined taxi booking.
