Microsoft OneNote apps now available for Android wear and iOS 8

Microsoft trade show

Google’s Android wear has been around for a few months only and is designed to offer the same user experience for smartwatches (and other wearables) as seen on Smartphones running Android. Since the popularity of Android wear is rising, Microsoft has decided to join the party with a version of its popular OneNote application for the platform.

This application is designed to use the Android wear voice command feature to take notes easily by the user initiating the command by saying the “OK Google, take a note.” The app will listen and take down the notes accordingly.

Microsoft did not just stop with Android wear as the company also added a new share extension feature that allows you to share content from any app to OneNote. With this app for iOS 8, you will be able to save photos from an iOS library, import file attachments from emails and clip websites from Safari.

For windows Phone owners, Microsoft will be updating its Office Lens app to be able to convert captured images from paper documents or whiteboard notes into Word or PowerPoint files. OneNote is a very important application for Microsoft and that is why it keeps on updating it and making it available on all the major platforms.
