The official launch of Easy Taxi took place last weekend on Saturday afternoon through an amazing race that saw 60 participants race head to head in 5 challenge zones across the city. Each team had 4-5 members who were provided with a task to carry out in different parts of the city in the shortest time possible. Some of these tasks included boat riding, wine sampling and salad preparation in a restaurant, narrations in the middle of the city center, marriage proposals and much, much more! Teams traveled quickly from challenge zone to challenge zone by requesting a cab via the Easy Taxi application.
With the help of their knowledgeable Easy Taxi drivers and their own wits, all of the teams managed to finish the competition within the allotted time. The winning teams were Kuona Trust, Future Shorts Kenya, and Team MVIP. After the event, all the participants and hundreds of members from the general public gathered together at Kuona Trust for the after-party to celebrate the Easy Taxi launch with food, drink, and entertainment from Electrafrique and UP Magazine.
