Sony has had the Xperia Z line of Smartphones for some time now and is believed to be planning the launch of the Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z3 compact at IFA in Berlin early next month. The launch event will be held on September 3, two days before the IFA officially begins.
The Xperia Z3 will be 7 mm thin and have specs similar to the Z2. The screen of the Z3 will be 5.15 inch in size with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. Under the hood there will be a quad-core 2.5 GHz Snapdragon 801 processor, 3 GB of RAM and a 20.7 MP rear facing camera.
The Xperia Z3 Compact on the other hand will have a smaller 4.5-inch display screen with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. Under the frame will be a Snapdragon 801 processor with 2 GB of RAM. This clearly shows that the Z3 Compact is small but still packs some serious specs.
