Samsung Has Given Galaxy S5 and Galaxy Tab S 900 Owners Reasons To Let Their Kids Use These Devices

Setting Up Kids Mode and PIN on Galaxy S5

Samsung is one company with a unique strategy that always turns out to favour them. The company has been innovative for a while and the latest one was when it revamped the Galaxy App Store (previously known as the Samsung App Store). Besides this, the company has also upgraded its Kids store to cater for the young users accessing the ‘kids mode’ on the Galaxy S5 Smartphone and Galaxy Tab S tablet.

The store is currently limited to the Galaxy S5 Smartphone and Galaxy Tab S tablet devices and has over 900 apps targeting children. These include games, educational apps and many more. The ‘kids mode’ feature prevents children from accessing unsuitable apps as they will be restricted to the children section only.

“The average age at which children using ‘smart devices’ for the first time has become lower than before.” said WonPyo Hong, President of the Media Solution Center at Samsung Electronics. “Samsung is committed to providing interesting and educational content to children, while continuing its effort to help parents protect their children and allow them to enjoy safe, parent-approved content in their daily lives.”

The Kids Store now offers 900 specially selected applications for children. It provides popular applications which are enjoyed by children around the world such as, LEGO, Pocoyo and Tipitap, and the English education content for children such as Agnitus, Little Bidge English and Creative Corner for the creativity. The Kids Store is available in 150 countries around the world.

Kids Mode with Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 Kids tablet was released in October, 2013, designed to provide a safe, fun and educational experience for children while giving parents the information and control they want.
