One of china’s biggest Smartphone manufacturers, ZTE, is about to announce its next flagship Smartphone that it hopes will rival the premium ones such as the Galaxy S5 from Samsung, HTC One M8, LG G3 and the iPhone 5S. The company has been in this business for a long time now but it has always focused on mid range Smartphones till now.
The new device which will be called the ZTE Nubia Z7 is reportedly very thin and good looking with some premium specifications. Apparently, the ZTE Nubia Z7 will have a 5.5 inch 1080p screen with Qualcomm snapdragon 801 or 805 processor. It will also have 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, an 8MP main camera at the back and a 2MP front-facing camera.
It will also support LTE connectivity and will have dual SIM card slots. The dual SIM card slots means that this device will probably be headed to the emerging markets ang we just hope Kenya is included in the list.
According to sources from china, the ZTE Nubia Z7 will be announced sometime this week and that is when we will know its price and if/when it will be available in Kenya.
