Google Developers Group, Nairobi to host Google I/O Extended Event @ The iHub

Google IO 2014 AH

It’s that time of the year for Google to meet with developers as it unveils some new products and services at the company’s premier event, Google I/O. This is a 2 day event that will begin on the 25th of July in San Francisco (SF). You do not have to worry about this if you are in Kenya and Nairobi in particular as  Google Developers Group, Nairobi (GDG) has partnered with the iHub to bring you an extended event that will give you the same experience you would have had in SF. The event will begin on the 25th and here is the Agenda.

Agenda (every day 7-11 PM at the iHUB Nairobi):

Day 1: Live-viewing of the Google I/O Keynote Speeches / Hangout with the I/O Ambassadors and Mercy Orangi (from SF).

Day 2: Hackathon/Codelabs on new features of Google Cloud, Android and Chrome; Highlights on major announcements at the I/O and a discussion on the implication for the developers.
