The LG G Flex introduced two main features never seen on Smartphones before. One was the curved screen and the other one was the “self healing” back. The curved screen was a welcomed feature for some consumers who saw the G Flex as a practical phone to carry around and bend a little bit without the risk of breaking the screen.
With a “self healing” back, you will not worry about minor scratches on your phone as they would heal over time to give you back a smooth original appearance. This feature only worked for small scratches.
For those using the current G Flex, LG is rolling out KitKat updates so you should expect one pretty soon.
With the LG G Flex out of the way, LG is rumoured to be working on its successor to be unveiled early next year (2015). This new LG G Flex 2, according to a reliable source (@evileaks) will come just a few weeks before Mobile World Congress.
According to @evileaks, LG is planning to add a cool new feature on the G Flex 2. This new feature will be unique than the current self-healing plastic back and will be something we have never seen before. Whatever LG adds to the G Flex 2, it will no doubt be welcomed.
