Samsung Announces A Another Mid Range Smartphone- The Galaxy Ace Star

Samsung’s domination of the Smartphone market is directly related to the number of Smartphones the company has in the market. Samsung’s Smartphones range from low-end entry level devices, mid range Smartphones and even the high end premium ones like the recently launched  Galaxy S5. The company uses this tactic to ensure their Smartphones are in all spheres of the economy. This tactic has worked so far and that is why the company is not going to change it soon.

The new entrant to the ever-growing Galaxy family is the Galaxy Ace Style. The phone packs some not so bad specifications for a mid range device. To start with, the screen is 4 inches with a WVGA (480×800 pixels) resolution. It has a decent 1.2 GHz processor and 512MB of RAM powering it, the low RAM is not a big issues given the fact that Android 4.4 has been optimized to run with low memory.

Internal storage space will be 4GB and can be expanded up to 64GB using a MicroSD card. The back of the Galaxy Ace Style sites a 5MP camera and a 1,500 mAh battery sits beneath the cover. A front facing camera is also available, but its Megapixels have not been revealed yet.

In terms of connectivity, the Galaxy Ace Style will support Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, NFC, 2G and 3G.

The phone will launch in various markets as from this month with Android 4.4 KitKat and will be available in Cream White and Dark Gray colours.
